What’s included in an electrical installation service?

Do I need a certificate for a switchboard upgrade?

Yes — a switchboard upgrade is certified work. You’ll receive a Certificate of Testing and Compliance once the job is finished, confirming it meets AS/NZS 3000.

Do you install EV chargers?

Not at this stage. Bonney Electrical doesn’t currently install EV chargers — for anything else on a switchboard or a new circuit, call 0420 463 873.

How long does a switchboard upgrade take?

Most residential switchboard upgrades are completed in a single visit.

Is the installation work compliant with Australian standards?

Yes — every installation is carried out under QLD Electrical Licence #1512017 and to AS/NZS 3000, the Australian and New Zealand wiring standard.
